Week Forty One

For the final time this season, hello from JNA towers

Congratulations to Lorne Smith who led from start to finish and who has rarely been out of the top 1000 in the world. His 6 points this week take him to a total of 1800 and 868th in the world. Well done sir.

The runner up this season is Mr Andrew Godfrey and his exotically named team. Excellent managerial skills sir.

Past winner Nigel Baly took third with an end of season rush. Good stamina.

Mr Ivor Smith takes fourth spot and with it his first FFL prize in a decade.

The man we've come to know as "Jones the Goal", Tom Emlyn Jones  tidies up the prizes with fifth spot together with the Golden Boot competition. Double well dones to you.

So two Scots, two English and one Welsh winner. A truly GB affair.

At the other end of the table, the relegation places are filled by Marco from Rimini, Richard Kitt Kat and Andy Price who ended up 264,465th in the world. Wooden spoons all round.

The Starting XI competition was won by Richard Prosser. His final total with the benefit of 28 transfers was only 43 points higher.

This week's Super Week was won by David Tudor - well done to you sir and all the other Super Week winners during the season.

The SUPER SUPER WEEK as kindly sponsered by Farebrother was won back in January by Lorne Smith.

Unofficial prizes go to Miss Emma Godfrey (i'm sure i went to your wedding) for "top bird" and Niall Gallagher for most improved team from Starting X1 to Final position.

I now need the addresses of all of the prize winners which are listed below. Please can you email me and i will forward prizes in the next couple of weeks.

Thank you for your support this season and rest assured, i'll be pestering you again at the end of July to enter next season's competition.

SIGN UP NOW

After (rather embarrassingly) walking away with first prize in last season’s competition, I have no shame setting up this year's premier Fantasy Football Super League sponsored by Jones Norris Adams Property Consultants.

This year’s competition promises to be even more exciting with more Super Weeks, and new prizes along the way to keep everybody interested throughout the season.

For those new to the competition, you enter as follows –

Go to www.telegraph.co.uk/fantasygames and follow the instructions to enter your team. This will cost £6. You can do this now and make unlimited changes if you change your mind / Tevez goes to jail / Rooney joins LA Galaxy.

On the left hand side, there is an option to join a Super League, which you then click and enter the Super League number (8002796) and name (JNA SUPER LEAGUE).

You then send a cheque made payable to “Ian Norris” to the address below for £20. This covers your entry into the JNA SUPER LEAGUE and goes into the Prize Pot.

Our sponsors have kindly agreed to put £600 of their hard earned profits into the prize pot.

For the purposes of indicating this year’s prizes, I have assumed there will be 50 entrants and a total prize pot (including the naming rights contribution) of £1,600. Obviously, this will alter depending upon the number of entrants – if there are less entrants, the prize format will remain the same but the prizes will lower / if there are more entrants we will create more prize opportunities . The prizes will be distributed at the end of the season as follows –

Overall Competition

First – Prize £425

Second – Prize £250

Third – Prize £175

Fourth – Prize £100

Fifth – Prize £50

Each week will be a Super Week with a prize of £10 for each winner. There is no limit how many times you can win during the season. There will be some weeks when there are no games so the prize simply rolls over to the next week.

This year there will also be prizes of £95 each for the Best Starting XI and the winner of the Golden Boot league - both of these can be followed via the SUPER LEAGUE page on the telegraph website.

Each week, there will be an update on the JNA website (www.jnaproperty.com) and details of the weekly password needed to make transfers. The rules and details of the prizes will also be posted.

What you need to do now –

Enter your team

Join the JNA SUPER LEAGUE ™

Send me a cheque for £20

I will of course send countless reminders our before the season starts so to avoid endless pestering sign up now.

Good luck

The Commander
